BOLD STATEMENT: If you love the 80's music (or Electronics in general), NO OTHER SYNTH WILL EVER GIVE YOU THIS KIND OF RICH N CREAMY, DELLISHH 80's ANALOG GOODNESS SOUNDS... It is a MUST HAVE!!! HAVE YOU ALWAYS WANTED TO BUY A JUNO 106 WITH PEACE OF MIND? WELL, THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO MAKE THAT A REALITY!!! 😉 This MUSICIAN'S DREAM-GEAR is FULLY FUNCTIONAL, and I would say it is in EXCELLENT condition! Especially for its age! However, and respectfully, since everyone has different standards, please don't take my word for it ; I'll let the pictures do the talking. 🙂 IT HAS HARDLY BEEN USED! Even the blue buttons are still blue! (not sun baked like most others) So at this price, and in this condition, IT IS A BARGAIN! I am sure that if you are looking at this item, you know everything about it. So, I will first tell you about this particular gem: IT HAS JUST BEEN FULLY SERVICED AND IS READY FOR A NEW HOME! The following services were just done, which cost me over $1000! IF you find another one for less than what mine is selling for, and since most of the used ones out there, that are supposed to be "fully functional", turn out NOT to be; you will then need to find someone who would work on these (which is very rare nowadays), and then who knows how much it would cost to make it fully functional??! Also, the JUNO 106 is known for its FATAL FLAW , their voice chip issue! And 4 out of 5 would need some kind of service/replacement, and that is very costly! $$$$ Especially since these synths are over 40 years old, which means unless they had just been serviced, hardly any of them would be fully functional; and CONDITION IS EVERYTHING! SERVICES DONE: Full inspection Load tested for 2 hours ALL 6 VOICE CHIPS replaced with brand new factory OEMs Fresh board battery installed Factory reset performed All original factory presets re-programmed Calibrated Key-bed serviced All sliders/knobs serviced All switches serviced All contacts cleaned All buttons serviced Cleaned inside and out This synth is one of the most amazing synths of all time! With its rich/creamy analog sounds, and heavenly string sounds, it is a timeless gear, which was way ahead of its time when it came out, and will forever be relevant, and usable in all electronic music productions. It is truly breathtaking... And for those reasons, it will forever remain a favorite, and will only go up in value! It is a MUST HAVE for anyone who produces music, or is simply interested in synthesizers... The Juno-106 is a very common and widely used analog polysynth. It continues to be one of the most popular analog synths due to its great sound and easy programmability. It was the next major incarnation of the Juno-series, following the . While it has virtually the same synth engine as the Juno-60, the 106 added extensive MIDI control making it one of Roland's first MIDI-equipped synthesizers. There was also increased patch memory storage, up to 128 patches instead of the 56 patches available in the Juno-60. READ ALL ABOUT THIS DEVICE BELOW! (under "some specs from the web") BE SURE TO CHECK OUT THE VIDEO INCLUDED! IT'S FUN! THIS WOULD MAKE AN AMAZING GIFT FOR ALL OCCASIONS, INCLUDING CHRISTMAS, BIRTHDAY, ANNIVERSARY... 😉 Please feel free to ask me any questions; I will try my best to find the answers for you. Also, let me know if you need any more pictures. Thank you, Kevin P.s. I PACK SAFE and SHIP FAST! A VIDEO: WHY BUY FROM ME? When you're buying a vintage (or just a used) car, does the condition matter? Of course it does! 😊 Are two used cars that are the same make and model the same? Would all similar (year, make and model) cars sell at the same price? No; there are many factors that would decide what price they fetch. Mileage, body, functionality, extra options, service history, past use... and one of the most important ones is CONDITION, which is everything! That is the reason a factory certified used Mercedes, fetches at least $4000 more, than the one you'd buy from a private seller you find on Craigslist.😊That's why when it comes to buying a used car, price is not everything... And buying a secondhand synthesizer, is no different than purchasing a vintage or used car. Yes, I'm proud of my children for sure. Mainly because when it comes to used keyboards and synths (just like used cars), condition is EVERYTHING! I have searched hard, hand-picked and collected only the best of the best that are in pristine condition (majority of them); and then had them professionally inspected, serviced/repaired (if needed), reprogrammed/restored (if needed), detailed... There's definitely value in that. On average, I spend about four hours on every single keyboard, before offering it for sale, and if they're not serviced, or if they don't pass the inspection, I don't sell them! I believe in selling ONLY quality items, to ensure that my clients are very happy with their purchase, which produces repeats, referrals and customers for life! 😁Not to mention the professional musicians, that rely on their instrument's health, and it's their livelihood, for whom I have the biggest respect, and want them to have a reliable machine. With all other used gear from other sources, including the major retailers, you'd have to keep your fingers crossed until it arrives... And most often, they are not what they were described to be, and often enough turn into headaches or heartaches...but you can rest assured that, if you buy from me, you will get a fully functional gear, and (specially for the online buyers) you'll get to see tons of details and pictures, before making up your mind! 🙂 No retailer would service them prior to the sale, as it costs an additional $300-$400! Not to mention finding a Synth Tech is extremely difficult and costly these days! And that is what I do, as a labor of love! I do this because I really enjoy ANYTHING and EVERYTHING about synthesizers! Buying, selling, fixing, collecting, playing...I just love them! 😍 And finally, CUSTOMER SERVICE, which is also one of the major factors in retail/buying. I try my very best to provide everyone with the best service and experience; a fun one!😁I do this in a timely manner, even/specially after the sale, which is when most sellers disappear, or just don't care/reply...You can check my reviews, and hear what people say about me. 😊And if you are a local, and come in for a face to face visit; I usually set aside an hour for each client, so they would have enough time to browse all the different options (I select a few based on their requirements/needs prior to their arrival); try them out in person, instead of a porch pick up, and app payment! 😀And since I am unbiased about my inventory, I offer a free consultation (which is a very valuable service), to help make sure they get what's best for them, instead of spending too much on the wrong gear. And since I've been around Synthesizers for over three decades, have serviced/repaired hundreds, and have hundreds available (which is one of the largest selections of used synthesizers found in one place!), I may know a thing or two about them...😄. And that alone is worth something, especially if you're new to the keyboard world, and don't know much about them/know where to start...If you've made it this far on this very long scroll 😄, you have my biggest thank you!😊Please let me know how I can assist you create art that gives you wings, and takes you into a different world; that is crafting music... A LITTLE ABOUT ME: I am a 46-year-old, with a degree in electronic engineering, who LOVES Synthesizers, Music, and Electronics in general. Even though I do not work in the electronic field; I have always loved it, never separated; and as a hobby, I collect and fix them (if broken); and sometimes sell them to make room for others... SOME SPECS FROM THE WEB: (The following information is from the web, and not my words, so I cannot guarantee the accuracy of the statements, but believe them to be accurate, to the best of my limited knowledge on this instrument) The Juno-106 is a six-voice polyphonic and programable analog synth with one digitally controlled oscillator (DCO) per voice. While classic monophonic synths used two or three oscillators to create a fatter sound, the Juno-106 uses built-in Chorus to fatten up its sound to dramatic effect. The nature of its DCO meant it was stable and always in perfect tune but still warm and analog. There is an excellent 24dB/oct analog lowpass filter with plenty of resonance and self-oscillating possibilities and a non-resonant highpass filter. The programable pitch/mod bender can be assigned to control the DCO pitch, VCF cutoff, and LFO amount all at once or individually. The Juno-106 was the first MIDI equipped Juno and its implementation is quite good. There are 16 MIDI channels available and MIDI SysEx data can be transmitted/received from all the sliders and buttons for total remote control and sequencing capability. A switch on the back of the keyboard, next to the MIDI ports allows the user to switch between three types of MIDI modes: Keyboard and Hold data only; Keyboard, Hold, Bender, Patch selection data; or All data (including SysEx). Most users simply set it to MIDI Function mode 3 and forget it. This synth is incredibly straightforward and very powerful. It's SH-series derived panel layout is easy to understand and very hands-on. Use it to generate lush pads, filter sweeps, and funky bass lines and leads. The Juno-106 is an awesome learning tool for anyone new to analog synthesis, as well as an electronic musician's dream for its warm analog sounds coupled with modern features like MIDI and memory - all at a very reasonable price. And still the Juno-106 has an even cheaper alter-ego in the form of the - a hobbyist version with built-in speakers. The Juno-106 is one of the most loved and used synthesizers by professionals and hobbyists alike! William Ørbit, Überzone, Norman Cook (Fatboy Slim), Autechre, BT, Vince Clarke, Moby, 808 State, Underworld, Leftfield, Fluke, Josh Wink, Todd Terry, Depeche Mode, Eat Static, Biosphere, The Prodigy, The Shamen, Bushflange, Cirrus, Astral Projection, Apollo 440, Faithless, Union Jack, Computer Controlled, Pet Shop Boys, Sneaker Pimps, Erasure, Freddy Fresh, Rabbit in the Moon, Kevin Saunderson, Jimmy Edgar, Laurent Garnier, Vangelis, Sigur Ros, and the Chemical Brothers have used this synth extensively! It belongs in your studio!
