This is an absolutely spotless vintage 1993 IBM model M keyboard with a PS/2 connection. With a USB adapter it will work with any modern computer. Often considered to be one of the best keyboards ever made, the Model M has a significant fan base. It is a one owner keyboard, I got it new in 1994 when my father brought home a new IBM PS/2 computer. I believe it was a 386. The keyboard was gently used for about 3 years as I am a hunt and peck 2 finger typist. After then the keyboard went into a box and only reemerged recently. I went through the keyboard and cleaned and sanitized every key, and the keyboard frankly looks new. Unfortunately when I went to clean the cord I realized the outer rubber was deteriorating. I started reinforcing the cord with a silicon wrap until is discovered there were just too many places needing repair. The keyboard still works with the cord in this condition, (I tested every key) These cords can easily be spliced, and replacements are still sold. I'm not in the mood to splice a new cable right now so I'm listing it now. If i get some spare time I will splice a new cord on it and raise the price.
