Lenovo Thinkpad X230 i7 3520M 16GB RAM 500 GB with Coreboot secured ME Qubes OS.
This is THE Operating System Edward Snowden uses.
Upgrades include:
1. Removal of old thermal paste, a thorough cleaning, and anapplication of superior thermal paste for the CPU.
2. Flashing a custom BIOS (coreboot Seabios) for more security.
3. Removing the vulnerable ME Intel firmware on the BIOS. This removes the vulnerabilities and possible back-doors that exist infactory BIOS chips on computers. Yes the U.S. government is probably behind it.
4. Installation of Qubes OS. - This can come pre-installedAND/OR an installation USB provided for a fresh install. Please state your preference when you purchase this item.
5. Option available for hardware key required for boot
6. 500 GB hard drive (easy to upgrade to higher one if wanted)
